It’s no small thing
The cost of being here

Is life how long you live
Or
What you do while living

Never pray for daylight
Or
Suffering
Both will come

It’s a long journey to the other side
Being led like a child
Our stumbling blocks will be turned into stepping stones
Grace and courage is available to face what is before us

Reality helps me know the difference
Between life and death in the choices I make

Even though it’s hard to face my neediness
It produces growth

Love is never lost
