Diaper-wearing monkey attacks Ohio Walmart employee

LANCASTER, OHIO — Authorities are looking for the keeper of a diaper-wearing monkey who was involved in an altercation with a Walmart employee over the weekend in Lancaster, Ohio.

In a video of the incident that went viral on Facebook, a Walmart employee who was organizing shopping carts can bee seen trying to corral the monkey, which had apparently escaped from a woman’s camper.

When the monkey attacked the employee, a woman can be heard shouting “Let it go, let it go.” She then quickly takes the monkey by its hand and tells the employee, “If he bites you, they will put him down.”

She then leads the monkey away like a toddler without apologizing or thanking the employee.

Local news station KSN reports that the Department of Agriculture is looking for the woman to determine if the monkey is an illegal pet.
