Diamond Staff - Terraria Weapon

The Diamond Staff is the strongest of the 6 gem/bar staffs. It does a high amount of damage, has a high fire rate, pierces up to 4 enemies and has a low mana cost, making it a very good magic weapon early on. However, the materials are rather hard to collect. The best prefix is Mythical. It is still effective well into Hardmode.

Notes:
If your world generated with Gold Ore, you will have to make the Ruby Staff instead, unless you can gather enough Platinum Ore with the Extractinator.

The bolts fired from the Diamond Staff (and other gem staffs and the Spectre Staff) can pass through the slanted side of sloped blocks.
