Dia Mirza | Trivia

Dia was born in December 9, 1981 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. She completed her schooling in Vidyaranya High School and in Nasr School. Mirza started working at the age of 16 years while continuing her college education. She worked as a marketing executive in a multi-media firm called Dr. Neeraj's Multimedia studio. She simultaneously modeled for the print and television advertisement campaigns of various brands such as Walls, Lipton, Emami etc. She is proficient in Urdu, Bengali, Hindi, and English. She currently resides on Veronica Road, Bandra (West), Mumbai.
Dia was the second runner up at the Femina Miss India, 2000 and was subsequently sent to Miss Asia Pacific, 2000, where she won. Mirza made her acting debut with Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein opposite R. Madhavan. The film was not a box office hit but through the passing time created a buzz among the youngsters.
