Words flow by in a river
ripples that dazzle my eye
Oh! Dear words, come again
let me hold you, don't be shy!

Fall on me like the rain
don't pour down, pitter-patter'll do
'cos I do need time you see
to run on and scoop each one of you!

Drift by like the lazy snow
and let the winds twirl you around
Oh! Drift and twirl and dance for me
But hush! Don't make a sound!

You are for me and for me alone
and that's how I'll like it to be
don't fall on someone else's ears
just be mine for eternity!
