Dhriti Chakraborty - Going Swimming

Stepping into happiness is like
Going swimming.
You put a toe in and test the waters
It's refreshing but you're unsure about the plunge.
Could one drown in one's own happiness,
If one is an inexperienced swimmer?
What is that floating freedom like,
And is it for everyone?
I am standing at the edge of this endless pool,
Contemplating pros and cons.
I'll jump in soon, and what will be will be.
