Dhaani, daughter of Sheikh Kaleem, is a happy go lucky girl who lives in a dream world. She is an apple for her aunt’s eye, who loves Dhaani more than her own son, Raja. Raja is a kite flyer and a failure in studies. He loves Dhaani but did not get a chance to express his love.rnSameer, son of a business tycoon Seth Rehan, gets attracted to Dhaani. The attraction seems to be a challenge for Sameer, since he finds her arrogant and reserve. Gradually the two protagonists become staunch friends, where Dhaani comes under a pre conceived notion that Sameer loves her. She asks him to send a proposal, but in return she finds out that he never considered her more than a friend.rnThere is a twist in fate when the two protagonists get separate by getting engaged to someone else,which ultimately leads to realizations and repercussions.
