Ivory and Ebony

Night brings to mind
Ivory and ebony
The dark mystery of night is ebony
Whilst the ivory of moon I can see


Colors of the Moon

Opaque and yet not
Iridescent and milky white
Ivory, silvery gray and alight
Glowing strong with an inner light- o' what a sight!


The Shawled Moon

The shadowy moon
Veiled by a lacy shawl
Draperies like thin silk cobwebs
The moon's glow shines bright
Shining, glowing-on...


Moonlight

Moonlight shines a path
Through a forest so alive
Deer, squirrels, hares and bees filling hives
Under the moon they come out to play and to dance
