Arizona senator John McCain is spending this Memorial Day in war torn Syria, meeting with rebels who have been fighting President Assad’s regime for two years. He is the highest ranking official to enter Syria since the conflict began. McCain and other Republicans have demanded action from President Obama after reports of chemical weapons have been used by Syria’s military.
