Devastating Washington Wildfire Hits Pateros

At least 80 homes were destroyed when a wildfire swept through the Okanogan County town of Pateros on late Thursday, July 17. Residents of Pateros and Brewster were evacuated just hours before the Carlton Complex Fire, which has burned more than 167,000 acres in Washington State, hit the towns.
