Deutsch Connector Assembly Instructions

I wanted to show you guys how to crimp a dtm connector and create a can bus wiring harness its simply 4 wires. Can Hi , can Lo , 12Volt + and ground !

The Can Hi and low needs to be twisted 1 rotation per inch of wire.

I used 18 AWG wire and went with a green for can low ( think ground is green like grass ) and white for can hi. I have also seen people use yellow as Hi.

I used Dtm4 connectors here but if you are doing the Motec keypads it calls for a DT4.
