Derrick Thompson - Watching the Cuckold

Slouching in the corner to make myself less
I watched in the dim room.
My bed, empty of my presence,
Filled more wholely by her student.

Frozen in place, eyes locked on them
The sounds and smells half familiar.
She would not look my way,
While his black eyes mocked and dominated me.

Louder, faster and harder than ever before.
The bed and the woman ceased to be mine.
In his thick Island accent he dismissed me
While his large dark body remained.

I stepped outside
Lighting and inhaling a long Cohiba.
The unceasing noise crescendoed
As I finished a memorable smoke.
