Derek Cole - Lost

I sit in the dark my thoughts swirling
The pain that you feel inside no one can understand
The love for family and longingness for a life you can never have
Feels like a knife being stabbed in you
Finally feeling that love you so longed for is hard
Pushing people to the breaking point to see what they can handle
They you find out that can't handle you and again your thrown back out
Into the dark all alone trying to find you way with the light from your heart
Maybe someday you will finally have the piece of mind you want but not tonight
