Dentists have discovered how you grow your own teeth, in just nine weeks!
A team from Columbia University led by Dr. Jeremy Mao made the amazing discovery, where they built a ‘scaffold’ for the tooth made of stem cells, the new tooth could then grow over the template.
Dr. Mao explains:
“The missing tooth is replaced with stem cells from your body, and the tooth starts merging to the surrounding tissue on its own. This boosts the regeneration process and results in regrowth of the tooth in a record time,”
