Dennis Walker - First Tour

I am sat here looking I see a tear in your eye
We both know soon it must be good bye
For I don’t know when I will be back
The photos of you are safe in my pack
My first tour in that deadly land
We sit here staring we both understand
One last kiss before I must go
Holding each other we do this so slow
We stand head to head with tears on our face
Pulling back now with my finger your tears I do trace
Please do not cry my one true love
Just pray for me to the lord up above
If I am taken down in that deadly land
Just remember it was for you and freedom I took a stand
Then just sing praise with family and friends
And pray that the means justified the ends
