Dennis Field - Sitting Alone

Sitting in a room all alone,
watching life past by,
waiting for the love of my life to get here,
how long do I have to wait,
the tick of the clock,
goes on and never stops,
time goes on and I get older,
oh my love when will you come.

My love is there for someone,
but they are no where to be seen,
if only today you will come,
life would make more sense,
it is said love will come,
I have waited all this time,
how much longer do I wait.

For love to come no one knows,
how or when it my be,
but I am sure when it is here,
it will be like living on a golden shore,
oh my love please come,
for now is the time for love.
to walk on the sand,
to go hand in hand,
together always.
