DENMARK - Denmark: Religious practices under fire?

In the debate pitting animal rights against religious freedom, Denmark has made up its mind. Animals must now be stunned before they are killed, as this is considered more humane. But this new piece of legislation goes against Muslim and Jewish rituals, and leaders of those communities are up in arms. They also fear a ban on male circumcision could be next.
