Denise Bekker - (* A Rose *)

All my petals did lay all around,
scattered about on the ground.
Suffering through brokeness.
Until He did me found.

One by one He did mend,
Did for me the heaven rend.
Now I begin to take shape,
my inner being awakes.

Kisses upon me He does blow.
Captivated I blossom, beginning to glow.
Sweet perfume fills the room,
as if I were a bride, meeting her Groom.

By His hand I have been made whole,
the upward call, is my goal.
Happy I am, the rose within His hand.
Held together by His Trinity band.

All my petals perfect in array,
to His tune I do sway.
Swept up by His love for me.
Now I am whole.....
His seal of love,
a perfect guarantee!
