Description
Just the other day,
It has been nearly two years
Since Dad passed away
The house doesn't away
The house doesn't feel the same you see.
I don't hear his strong voice
Calling out to me,
I don't see the stern look
Any more on his face.
I don't see him anymore
At Church listening to "Amazing grace,"
I don't cook fish anymore you see
Because he has joined the man from Calvary.
He's in heaven now enjoying with others,
Praising and smiling and laughing with saints of old.
No medicines to take, no doctors appointments to keep.
No being afraid to walk the streets.
He's happy as can be,
He's joined the man from calvary.
