Demos erupt in Cairo

Egyptian riot police fired teargas at thousands of demonstrators gathered in Cairo's Tahrir Square early on Sunday (November 20), as protests demanding an end to the ruling army council entered their third day.
In scenes reminiscent of the 18-day uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak from three decades of power in February, protesters gathered outside the interior ministry to call for the military to transfer power to a civilian council.
The growing unrest comes days before the country is due to hold elections.
