Demolition process goes wrong : building collapses on excavator

SHANGRAO, CHINA — A building collapsed on an excavator operator after he misjudged the situation and parked in the wrong place.

On July 29 in Shangrao City in the southeast of China, an unnamed excavator operator was instructed to take a small building down. He was pretty successful in demolishing the house, but he should've revised his basics about gravity.

The operator completely misjudged the direction in which the building would collapse. The excavator ended up buried under a tide of rubble. Miraculously, no one was injured.

The video went viral in China, reaching nearly 5 million views in less than two days.

Netizens left comments advising the operator to start studying physics.
