A mothers touch, a mothers gift, what more could one ask,
a feeling so strong and unique, a mothers love unsurpassed
no emotions could compare, no feelings could compete,
how the unity between them, makes there lives complete
but as a son needs his mother, a mother needs her child,
to erase the loneliness, that stretches on for miles
to bring light to the darkness, a sun to the day,
to carry each other through life, to lighten each others way
to fill the emptiness, that cannot be filled,
to mend her broken heart, that cannot be healed
to bring warmth to her heart, that is turning cold,
to bring tranquility and peace to her burning soul
burning for her child, burning for her reason
shes fighting for her life, her reason for breathing.
