Delta Fire Bears Down on California's Interstate 5

The Delta Fire burning California’s Shasta County grew to 22,000 acres and was zero percent contained in the early hours of September 7, according to information available on the InciWeb website.The fast-spreading wildfire shut down the Interstate 5 highway on September 5, forcing motorists to abandon their vehicles.
