Delhi reports first case of Monkeypox

Delhi on July 24 reported the first case of Monkeypox. Speaking to ANI, LNJP Hospital Director Suresh Kumar said, “The person was admitted 2 days ago. He had a fever and skin rash. We kept him under observation. Later his samples were sent to Pune and today we received the report in which he was found positive for Monkeypox. He is being treated as per SoP.”
