Delhi govt bill proposes time limit on documents

Call it the Anna effect. In the wake of the anti-corruption movement spearheaded by Anna Hazare, the Delhi government will now pass a law that explicitly lays down a time limit for government servants to provide documents on time, else they would be fined. The documents include birth & death certificates, certificates of the revenue department, ration cards, learner driving licenses & caste certificates.
