Delhi Gangrape Case : Verdict deter rapists?

Brutally raped in a moving bus, assaulted by an iron rod, Left to die. Almost 9 months after 23-year-old paramedic student Damini succumbed to her injuries. A fast track court is set to pronounce its verdict against four of the accused today.

The prosecutor claimed that the rapists' brutal assault on the victim and her male friend was to eliminate them. Other points raised are the attack on the victim with an iron rod, resulted in her death.

After gangrape, the accused tried to run over the duo, but were unsuccessful. The accused had distributed the looted articles among themselves, which was recovered later.
