Delegates from more than 50 countries gather for first ‘Global Summit’

More than 50 countries have gathered in Colombia for the first global summit, dedicated to phasing out fossil fuels. The gathering is meant to "complement" and not compete with the u-n cop meetings - which have previously stalled in the negotiation stage.
