Del Shannon - Runaway

After his early recordings were unsuccessful, Del Shannon was advised by Ollie Mclaughlin to rerecord one of his earlier songs, originally titled "Little Runaway", but changed to just "Runaway", which became his signature song.

This new version on "Runway" became an international hit, reaching #1 on the UK Singles Chart and #1 on the US Hot Billboard Chart. The song is also No. 472 on Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time from 2010.

This performance was recorded live at Little Darlin's Rock 'n' Roll Palace, in Kissimmee, Florida.
