End of year
Is the beginning
Of New Year
And I could hear
Holy Mantras
Of Goddess Durga
Echoing everywhere
As rife is the air
With festive fervour
She descends
On earth every year
In the month of
September-October
As sins and evils destroyer
She is divine mother
To thee Goddess Durga
I am offering my prayer
O Maa Durga!
I know not any prayer
Or magical summons
To invoke you
Nor any mantra
To meditate on you
I know not your story
Or glory that lies with you
Nor thy various postures
Nor am I given
To crying in distress
Only thing I know is
That taking shelter in you
And obeying thy command
Will definitely end all sufferings……..
