DEEP DARK SOUL POET - dead inside

I have died on the inside
endlessly waiting for the shell to follow
No one cares about this long lost soul...
its just sitting in this darkness withering away....
there’s nothing I can do I’m weak..
this darkness is all consuming...
it consumes me...
it brings out all my pain....
all my suffering....
suffering I thought I had long forgotten.....
so it why is it causing me such great sorrow.....
this sorrow no one can see.....
no one but me.....
all my love.......
all my kindness....
everything has been consumed...
I’m just a hollow shell of what I once was....
so I lay in this darkness...
no one cares....
no one tried to save me...
just me all alone...
in the dark.........
the darkness which will set me free...
I am dead on the inside
endlessly waiting for the shell to follow
