Dee Daffodil - Writer's Block

Have I forgotten,
How to write?
I sit and think,
With all my might...
But it just doesn't come.

Years ago,
When I was young,
I could write,
And found it fun...
But, not so much now.

Perhaps it's that,
I try too hard,
To write a poem,
and rhyme a word.
Does that rhyme?

Maybe I will switch,
One day.
To writing children's books,
That say...

Darn...there it is again! !
