Dee Daffodil - Wants vs. Needs

She sat somewhat uncomfortably on the couch
Having come here of her own volition
Seeking answers...

'You see Doc, most of the time
I know what's right from wrong
And I listen to my own advice...
But every once in awhile
My heart takes over the conversation...'

Without lifting eyes from notes...
'Sometimes...it's not about what you want...
It's about what you need'

She mulled it over for a moment
Then her heart spoke...

'Right...I think I need a new shrink! '
