Dee Daffodil - Night Creature

I am a creature of the night
That's right
I am a night creature.

Do not be afraid tho,
Fear not
You have nothing to fear from me

Though I prowl through the alleys
And streets
I mean you no harm

However...

There are beasties who are creeping
Round the corner of your mind
And bad guys who are lurking
In the stairways of this rhyme

You might meet a nasty fellow
With a knife or with a gun
It's only just my writing...
The tale's just begun

So although you find me driving
Through your neighborhood late at night
There's no need to fear me,
It's just my poems that cause a fright!
