As though the Gods themselves
Have brought forth
Upheaval and destruction
In my once sane world
Screams...echo and reverberate
Within the confines of my mind
I see my sanity...
Slowly...
Slowly...
Slowly...
Slinking away...
Like a thief who steals the night
I find this plague to be contagious
My Nanny and husband
Have also been lost
To this wicked beastly thing
Is it a monster that dwells within?
Is it chaos? Is it sin?
Is it evil, cast from hell?
Is some omnipotent beast
With fangs to sink
Within our souls? ? ?
No....
It is merely dear mortal...
