Dee Daffodil - I Cut
2 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
When I met her
Stuck in limbo
Between childhood and
Being 'all growed up'...
And there she was...
Sitting on the floor
Of her bathroom
With tears streaming down her face
And one arm
Wrapped in a grungy looking towel
So I said to her...
'Do you cut for release?
Does it make you feel better? '
And she said she did
And assured me
She didn't want to kill herself
Then I asked her
If she wrote about her feelings
And she said...
'Yea...I write poems...'
And I thought...
'Hmmm...maybe I've read
Some of your stuff...'
And her parents didn't understand her
And life sucked
And her sister was a Bitch
And the group home life was the pits
And she hated school
Cuz she never thought she was any good
And I could have just reached out
And hugged her...
If she hadn't been covered
In all that blood...
Based on a true story...my life...
