Dee Daffodil - A Tiny Angel

What was going through your wonderful little brain?
Did you think that you could catch a breeze with your hands?
Did you believe you could fly with the birds?
Were you so full of adventure, so not to be bound
By limits of staying in bed?

Fifteen floors...fifteen floors...fifteen floors
All the way down to the ground
Perhaps you flew with an angel
And are now really...Heaven bound


I look at your face as you lie there
So sweet and angelic...so pure
So fragile and broken and lifeless
And now...someone's angel...I'm sure
