Decorated Egg

Back in the days when Tim had an office job, the wife of one of his colleagues in the office made these amazing decorated eggs. She did not do it as a business, and she did not sell them. She just did it for fun.

A little bit like a Fabergé egg (although without the real gold and jewels) this consists of two eggs, one inside the other. If you look closely in the small gap between the two eggs, you can see what appears to be a line running round the middle of the larger, outer egg, so it would seem that this was neatly cut in half at some point, and then stuck back together.

Both eggs are highly decorated, and the inner egg can be turned on its axis, thus revealing different bits of artwork through the holes or windows that have been cut in the larger, outer egg.

Eggstremely time consuming and eggacting work!
