The wreckage of North Korea's rocket is recovered, just two days after its launch triggered fierce condemnation.
The South Korean navy brought the rocket ashore after it was located in the sea over 100 km away from the country.
Authorities say it will be useful in analysing the North's technological capabilities.
The recovery came as North Korean state media released pictures of Kim Jong-un at the satellite control centre on Wednesday (December 12).
The young leader reportedly gave the final written order to launch the rocket - which the state says put a weather satellite into orbit.
Kim has been in power less than a year, and the launch is seen as a significant boost for his credentials.
On Friday (December 14), huge crowds gathered in the capital Pyongyang in celebration.
While the launch is hailed inside the country, it's sparked international calls for stronger sanctions against North Korea.
The U.S., Japan and South Korea say it was a test of technology that could one day deliver a nuclear warhead.
