Debra Bunt - My Two Angels

I have two angels that watch over me each and everyday
I can’t see them but I know they are there

I sense a presence around you when I am troubled
I feel their touch when I need a hug

I hear their voices when I can’t make a decision
I feel their guidance when I travel the wrong path

Although they are in Heaven and they can’t be seen
I know they are there watching over me

You see these Angels I have seen before, I have touched their skin, I have held them tight and I have laughed and cried with them

My Two Angels are my Mom and friend Joe
God took them when he needed them the most

Although I don’t understand it and I have felt so much pain
I know they are in Heaven and I will see them both again

I have cried a million tears wanting them back on Earth
But they are here with me so why do I cry?

I have precious memories of My Two Angels that can never be taken away and I know they are with God and smiling down on me

My Two Angels are precious to me and that they will always be
I pray for them everyday to continue watching over me

My Two Angels watch over me
They will guide me through my darkest times

My Two Angels can see my lamp post that I can no longer see
But I know they will guide me through the dark times until I can find the lamp post that I know still shines so bright
