Debi Tirtha Kamrup Kamakshya is a 1967 Bengali movie starring Asit Baran, Nripati Chattopadhyay, Prabir Kumar, Gita Dey and Renuka Ray. The movie is directed by Manu Sen and music is by Anil Bagchi.

The king of eastern Indian hill area. Bishwa Singha & his brother Shib Singha, have a very good relationship, but by nature they are very different. Bishwa Singha is very practical but Shib Singha is having faith in god. One day two brothers were going out with their force for hunting. But in a dark night, in deep forest both they lost their way. The two brothers were tired, injured & they try to find out a safe place where two brother totally exhausted and thirsty. Suddenly a lady appeared & tell them where they could get water, but they did not find after few times an aged lady appeared. They asked her about water and lady reached near water, that water was really really tasty. Old lady told them there was situated a Goddess to whom you can pray and a get back these things. Both brothers want to get back their forces to the goddess and they immediately get back their forces. The old lady disappeared suddenly when they get back forces. At last they recovered safely from the deep forest. Shib Singha thought that they had met with a Goddess. She has appeared in front of them. But Bishwa Singha guessed there was certainly a devil as otherwise in a deep forest no one can stay. Shib Singha wants to see that Goddess again but Bishwa Singha didn't indulge his wish. The family member of king's reached Baranashi, brother has got that old lady but Bishwa singha thought she must be a tired otherwise why she is visible suddenly. To find out the way Shib Singha suddenly lost his way to reach the hill. He had reached a closed area, he started calling up for that Goddess to find a way out. Shib Singha asked some money to make that temple from his brother Bishwa Singha.
