You're not somebody
because of who you're around
You're not somebody
because you're renowned

You're not somebody
because you are smart
or because of your position
or because you will start

or because you have
the right clothes
the right hair, or right speech

or because you're a scholar
or because you can speak

You are somebody
because God made you so
and there are somethings that
He wants you to know

He loves you with an everlasting love
your life is important, each one of us

God sent Jesus to die for our sins
He bled and died for all of them

When you come to the Lord
you will be able to see
that he made you for Him
in Him you're somebody
