I’m lying in my solitary bed
My eyes almost closed
When I feel your arms go around me
And pull me close to yourself

You gently stroke my hair
And softly kiss my cheek
Lulling me to sleep
With your soothing baritone voice

For a moment my life is perfect
My dreams finally coming true
But then something awakens me
And I find myself alone.
