Dean Tan - Rage

The burning rage, flaring inside,
Can't be put out even, by the purest tide,
The unmatched force that devours all,
Has driven many glories, to their fall.

Rage consumes one, bit by bit,
And won't stop, once the flame is lit,
The flickering flames, drives one mad,
The results are, truly sad.

The volcanic anger, flowing within,
Causes one, to commit many a sin,
It causes one, to lose common sense,
And to stress, to nerve, to vain and to tense.

Oh, how, the tremendous might,
The anger burns, everything in sight,
It destroys and turns everything into ash,
The action of stab, fury and bash.

This burning power, can never be sealed,
Nor recovered nor stopped nor killed nor healed,
No, this power conquers the brain,
And basically drives, one insane.

It can't be controlled, or used for pure,
It can't be used, to fly or soar,
It has a mind of it's own, some people say,
It takes over humans, day by day,

If it controls you, you gain undescribeble power,
And are left with it, for many an hour,
You burn and flare and hurt much,
Then you regret and cry nd things of such.

Rage, anger and fury are one,
Their heat is higher than even the sun,
They conquer all that is in their way,
Burning and flaring those who innocently lay.

So if you experience, joy happiness and gay,
The rage shall possess you, and there it shall stay,
Until you find, eternal calm,
Master the beauty, in the center of your palm.

Freedom in rage, is everyone's wish,
But it slips out of our hands, just like a fish.
So be wary of rage, remember that well,
When will rage take you, no-one can tell.
