As i drift into a soft sleep
I am suddenly woken, by the softest of touches
Its you...

Your arms around me like the Vines to a Tree
I am the tree, hard, angry, dying...
You are the vine, gentle, calming, loving...

And as i roll over to hold you as you hold me too
I wake from my sleep
And you are gone

Dreams of you where you once used to lay
With your arms around me and your breath on my neck
Are now the distant past

I could see us falling apart
I just couldn't catch you
And now your gone
I'm a man with no heart...
