Deadly storms strike the Philippines

Tropical Storm Yagi, locally known as Enteng, wreaked havoc in the Philippines’ Antipolo City, leaving behind widespread destruction.

The storm's heavy rains triggered severe flooding, landslides and flash floods, resulting in the loss of at least seven lives, with four others still missing. Search and rescue operations continue as local authorities work to find the missing individuals.

In the aftermath, the disaster also forced the closure of schools and government offices across Manila and nearby provinces on Tuesday, as officials brace for further adverse weather conditions.
