Deadly blasts hit northeastern Nigeria

The aftermath of a bomb attack in northeastern Nigeria that left at least six people dead.
The attackers targeted police buildings and banks, and used explosives and automatic rifles in their assault.
The area's police commissioner confirmed that one policeman, one soldier, once civilian and three suspected attackers were killed in the incident.
Witnesses said two banks were looted and two police buildings were set ablaze.
The Islamist sect Boko Haram, whose name translates to "Western education is a sin", has been blamed for dozens of attacks in northeastern Nigeria this year.
Last year the group carried out a prison raid, freeing around 700 inmates.
It also claimed responsibility for bombings in the capital Abuja earlier this year that killed 24 people.
