Description
A number of dead sharks washed up at a Queensland beach near Mackay on Sunday, December 3.
The shark carcasses, among them hammerheads, attracted swarms of flies where they lay on the sand. Local Lance Payne, who recorded this footage, expressed concerns they had been senselessly killed.
“Why are people killing these young sharks? Its just not right,” he told Yahoo News</a>. Credit: YouTube/Lance Payne via Storyful
