(De Va) - Night Terror

My heart races as night comes near
Dusk means I must face my fear
Once again my night may be interrupted
By a man whose soul is corrupted

So small I am in this human form
So weak against a soul that is torn
My heart trembles as I head to my bed
Visions of terror embedded in my head

Soon my parents leave for work all night
To be left alone in all my fright
With each creeping sound I hear
Within my soul rises immense fear

Will I make it through the night untouched
Will I rest this night or in terror be clutched
Will he come into my little room and fill me with shame
Will he tell me it is my fault, that I am to blame

One day I will be strong
On that day I will be gone
And then, my parents I will tell
And he can go straight to hell
