I met you three years ago
On a run away horse
You helped me I thanked you
We were friends ever since

Now the fourth year comes rolling in
You asked me to marry you and I say yes
Three months until the wedding
And our love still growing strong

Wedding day comes two hours away
I can’t wait until we are married
We now are at the I do’s
It’s over we’re married

We’re on our way to the reception
We loved it so much on to the honey moon
From the reception three miles off we crashed
The truck is on top of us and I’m near death

You are wide awake the weight of the truck is keeping
You awake the police say that lifting the truck will kill you
You have a choice to save me one last time or kill me
You chose to save me one last time

The police play our song by your request
I awake the next day to find my husband is gone
Gone from this world
Lifting the truck killed him and I say with all my heart

I love you mi amore even though you are gone
If chosen to kill me you would have
Gone into surgery and came out alive
But yet you would regret killing me the love of your life

Then you would say this in your head
I’m sorry I did this to you
My love
