David Whittingham - Sharks

Description
I eat what I need,
But I am Angry,
I hate the pray that is not my
For all that I see is mine,
Because I rule the ocean,
I inspire fear in all,
In the fish,
In the seal,
In the plague of the surface.
Then the hook,
Rips my mouth,
And I am dragged,
Helpless,
From my kingdom,
To die alone
I work the depths of humanity,
I take the case’s only if I can win,
But its not enough,
I hate the poor, who cannot pay,
The rich is where the money is,
I rule the court room,
I inspire fear in all
In the guilty
In the innocent
In the plague of the city
Then the knife,
Rips my throat,
And I’m dragged
Helpless.
From my life,
To die alone.
The life of the sharks.
